Intagio’s 2023 Gathering will take place in The Roos in Amsterdam’s centre near the beautiful Vondelpark, and adjacent to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum.
The Gathering starts Thursday, May 4 at 14.00 and ends Sunday May 7 at 12.30.
To make the Gathering as affordable as possible, the Committee has organized the Gathering without hotel accommodation. We urge you to make your own lodging arrangements soon as possible to get the best available prices.
The Gathering fee is 280 €. This includes all meetings at The Roos, lunch on Friday and Saturday and dinner on Thursday and Saturday.

| Wednesday May 3 Pre-Gathering picnic in Vondelpark tentatively from 3-5pm Thursday May 4 welcome at 2pm, a light meal and drinks around 6pm May 4th is Remembrance day in the Netherlands. We invite you to join us in our national Remembrance ceremony. Will end at 10pm. We are still exploring the best way to do this. More details will follow later as well as the full program. | Practical information regarding transport from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to the Venue: “De Roos” P.C. Hoofdstraat 183 1071 BW Amsterdam, is centrally located at Vondelpark and close to Museumplein, Leidseplein (= square). De Roos has much culture nearby: theatres, museums, music venues, cinema, market and ‘the Heineken’ – all with easy access by public transport. From central station, east and west Amsterdam trams go to the ‘Leidseplein’, and from there 10 minute walk. Trams 3, 1, 2 and 17 stop very close to the Roos. For accommodation there are many possibilities by local public transport (GVB). There are also hotels further from the centre, like east, south east, (new) west and north (Metro 52 North south line walk about 15 minutes). Not far from Vondelpark, there are relatively cheap hotels with small rooms and minimal service. In the Vondelpark and in East there are Stay Okay hostels and near Leidseplein hostels with shared rooms and or toilet/shower; some have private rooms. In Amsterdam (new) west and east there are really nice and cheap places to eat well, despite gentrification. Schiphol has trains direct to Amsterdam Central station where you can take a variety of trams and metro (in front) and busses (behind). Trains to southeast (Duivendrecht) and west (Lelylaan) which bring you close to cheaper hotels (Bastion, Ibis). Take care to check in and out every time you go in or out a station or the bus or metro. Most touristic venues can be reached by public transportation. Busses behind central station to the ‘De Zaanse Schans’ windmills and ‘De Keukenhof’ big flower exposition.
